15% of people diagnosed with Parkinson's are aged 65 or under, people of a working age face a number of unique challenges:
Do they tell their employer?
How do they explain Parkinsons to their children
When should they give up work?
Our working age cafe, meets on the first Saturday of the month from 10:00am to noon.
The cafe style group means you can drop in for 10-minutes to 2-hours, have just a coffee or a full English.
Meeting on the first Saturday of each Month - everyone is welcome!
New venue
1st Saturday of the month, 10.00 - 12.00, The Two Steeples pub, 51 Bell Street, Wigston, Leicester LE18 1AD.
Access to pub car park is off Paddock Street. Car park is free but monitored, so car registrations have to entered at the pub.
