Cycling Donations 

One of the cafe members shared that his son had recently undertaken a sponsored cycle ride for the Cafe and had raised £3k.

This money is being collected and a cheque should be coming in soon.

 Rashmikant Josh has recently raised almost £1,000 for Parkinson's UK through local donations made by his weekly Healthy Walk attendees. Hema thanked him for his efforts, a picture of which is below. 

Walking for Parkinson's - World Parkinson's Day 2024 

At the session Rashmikant Joshi, who has served locally as a counsellor and is a DJ on local radio, agreed to deliver a sponsored walk for the Cafe next year on World Parkinson's Day (Thursday 11 April). It will be a 15 mile walk from Loughborough to Leicester.

The aim would be to use this as a high-profile awareness event, with as much 'noise' as we could about this being made locally to support.
