Our UK-wide network of friendly Parkinson's local advisers is here for you – whether you have the condition or you're a carer, friend or family member of someone with Parkinson's.
A message from Helen Brewin (former Parkinson’s local adviser for Leicestershire and Rutland)
After 11 wonderful years as Parkison’s local adviser for the area I have now moved into a new role as team manager for the Midlands adviser service.
The new local adviser for Leicestershire and Rutland is now Rachel Ball. Rachel joins us from Leicestershire county council and has a wealth of experience in adult social care and public health and is very much looking forward to getting out and meeting you at the local groups and in the community.
I wanted to let you know that I have greatly enjoyed my time as a local adviser and have learnt so much from you all about the impact and challenges of living with Parkinson’s. I hope that along the way I have been able to help and support you when you needed it and I am confident that Rachel will be able to offer that same support so please do get in touch with her when you need to.
